2008 Haskell Family Reunion

The Source for this image is Americana Illustrated, Volume 21 No. 3, a publication of the American Historical Society, Third Quarter, 1927. According to said publication, 'his Coat of Arms is recorded by Matthews in his 'American Armoury and Blue Book' for William Haskell, husband of Mary Tybbott and his descendants'. The Village of Deer-Isle, from Stonington Harbor

The Haskell Family Association and the International Haskell Family Society are co-sponsoring a reunion in scenic Deer-Isle, Maine on September 19,20&21, 2008. Membership in either group is not required to attend the reunion, all are invited. The weekend's events will include historical tours of the surrounding areas; a visit to nearby Acadia National Park, an area of amazing natural beauty; a dinner with speaker on Friday and a traditonal Downeast clambake on Saturday. There will also be plenty of time to meet friends and get to know one another, along with exhibits of Haskell family historical items and Haskell Association merchandise for sale.

The Pilgrim's Inn on Deer Isle, former home of Ignatius Haskell.  Built in 1793 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For more information about the 2008 reunion, including a full listing of scheduled events, please visit the IHFS' reunion page, done by Barry Miller.
