In the name of God I George
Andrew, farmer of Caroline County in the state of Maryland, being weak
in body but of perfect sound desposing mind memory and understanding
thanks be to God for the same, but feeling sensibly the ________ of my
natural body and knowing that it is appointed unto all ______ once to die
and being desious to settle my outward affairs & I leave this world, do
therefore make ordain publish pronounce and declare this to be my last
will and testament in form and manner following to wit;
First and principally of all I give and recommend my soul unto the hands of that god who gave it and ______ to the Earth to be buried in a plain decent Christian like manner at the discression of my Executors herein after named, and touching what little worldly property it hath pleased the lord to bless me with in this life, I give and bequeath and dispose of the same in form and manner following, that is to say; Item, I give and bequeath unto my son George Andrew my gray mare and cow and yearling which I gave to him when he was first married, four head of sheep which is in his mark and half the crop of corn and fodder that is now growing on my farm, to have and hold...
