Directions to gravesite:
From Eden, North Carolina, take Highway 135 to Mayodan. Follow 135 until it ends in Mayodan and you have to take a a left or right. At the end of 135, take a left onto Business 220. From there, take a right by the Hardee's fast food restaurant. At the end of that road, which is very short, take a right again onto Highway 704, or Ayersville Road. You'll go several miles, I don't know the exact mileage, and turn right onto Case School Road. On Case School Road, look for Gann's Septic Tank Service. There will be two driveways side by side--very close together--and the address is 833. Take the 2nd drive way--it curves around to someone's home. As it starts to curve to go toward the house, stay straight and go through the grassy area a short distance. The cemetery will be on your right. WAC's grave is the only Carter there--with a headstone anyway. (Directions courtest of Gina Paige)
