The children of William and Mary Collins Robey are buried in
three areas of the country: Scioto County, Ohio, Stephenson County,
Illinois, and the
Bratton Family Cemetery in Williamson County, near downtown Austin,
Texas. Several children died in infancy or childhood, and were buried
in the Larkin cemetery where their grandparents Philip and Jemima Lewis
Robey Moore are buried, near their home. The Three children of William
and Mary Robey who remained in Illinois are buried in that county, and
most of the others are buried in the family plot in the Bratton Family
Cemetery. The burial site for John and Elizabeth Harrell is not known
at this time, but is somewhere in the Travis County Vicinity. John
Collins Robey moved back to Scioto County in 1870 and lived out the
remainder of his life in the Sugar Loaf area. His burial site and that
of his second wife is not yet known, but his first wife, nee Mariah
Waite, is buried with the Robeys at the Bratton Cemetery. R. Campbell, Ed.
