Mrs. Robert Harrison

Mrs. Robert Harrison, a lifelong resident of Stephenson County, died in her home, 504 S. Walnut Ave., Sunday after an extended illness.

The former Ardell Young was born in Cedarville Feb. 16, 1870, the daughter of Robert and Louisa Young. Her marriage to Robert Harrison took place January 4, 1897.

She was a member of Embury Methodist Church and the Woman's Society for Christian Service of that church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alfred L. (Ruth) McIlheran, Blair, Neb., one son, Glenn G., Freeport; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Hays and Mrs. Sadie E. Moore, both of Freeport; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband died in September 1931, and a son, Robert, died in 1953.

Services will be in the Walker Mortuary at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Paul Bloomquist, pastor of Embury Church, officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mortuary after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
