• Born in Hagerstown, Washington, Maryland 30 November, 1777.
• Son of William Robey, Sr. and Jemima Lewis and step-son of Philip Moore.
• Lived in the following Places:
  • 1783-1797 Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
  • 1797-1834 Portsmouth, Scioto, Ohio.
  • 1834-1847 Stephenson County, Illinois.
  • 1847-1875 Travis County, Texas, near Austin.
• Married 1806 in Scioto County, Ohio to Mary "Polly" Collins (1791-1869), daughter of John Collins and Elizabeth Doherty.
• The following children had children of their own:
  • Levi--married Almira Waite, remained in Stephenson County, Illinois.
  • Cynthia--married Hubbard Graves, remained in Stephenson County, Illinois
  • John Collins--married (1) Mariah Waite and moved to Texas with his parents. In 1870 he returned to Scioto County, Ohio, and md. (2) Mrs. Angeline Brouse. He had one surviving daughter by his first wife and 3 children by his second wife.
  • William Waddel--married Sarah Young, remained in Stephenson County, Illinois.
  • Francis Asbury--married Annie Solemnia Bratton in Texas.
  • Elizabeth Jemima--married John Harrell in Texas.
