Woolhope, a wide and extensive Parish, is situated about eight miles from Hereford, and the same distance from Ledbury. This locality, like most other parts of the county, abounds with fine planted orchards and hop gardens. Buckenhill is a Township to this Parish.The Church, a venerable old building, is situated at the end of the Village; it is built with stone, and has a square tower without spire. The Rev.
