Unfortunately, the name of the newspaper and the date of the article were not identified on the clipping itself. According to LDS FamilySearch IGI, this couple was married in Lewiston, Androscoggin Co., Maine on October 1, 1836. However, the clipping itself states that the couple were married at Harpswell, Maine on October 15, 1837. Since it is stated that the couple was celebrating their 65th. anniversary, I am assuming that this article was published around 1902 or 1903. The clipping was found in an old city directory that I purchased a few weeks ago. If you are related to this couple ... please contact me.
