When I was just eight years old I started asking questions about my dad's mom who died when he was just twelve years old. He brought out some of the old long genealogy forms and showed me what he had. From there my interest grew and as I learned more and more about Earlin Louella Butler Morris I became hooked on genealogy and have been doing it ever since... with the occasional break. From 2007 to 2009 I tried to run a business doing genealogy and had to close it due to health issues. It was semi-successful and I was sorry to shut it down. The BYFH site has been removed. Anyone wanting to share their family photos is welcome to send them to me and I will add or link them to this site. When submitting pictures please include names of the people in the photo and the date (if known) that it was taken.

I consider myself a successful genealogist because my goal was to help even one person to improve their research tactics and to find at least one missing ancestor. There is a wonderful lady, who over the years has become a great friend, that has said if it weren't for us (another friend and me) pushing her to verify every piece of document she wouldn't have started doing so. By verifying the data from each record you might find additional information or even an error that has occurred.
