TERESA D. CARR,

54, died at 11:08 p.m. June 3, 2006, from complications of cancer at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends.
   She was born July 9, 1951, in Covington, Ky., to Sheridan and Wanda Junk Smith, who preceded her in death. On April 24, 1971, she m a r r i e d Richard D. Carr, who survives in Bluffton.
   Mrs. Carr was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Bluffton Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and was involved in youth activities. All those who knew her were touched by her kindness and spirit. She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly. Her dedication to Christ and her new home in heaven will help to soften this great loss. She was raised in Toledo, moving to Bluffton in 1983.
   Survivors also include a son, Jacob Carr of Cincinnati; two daughters, Dyanna Carr of Hollywood, Calif., and Rebecca Carr of Madison, Wis.; two brothers, Terry (Richanna) Smith of Woodville and Timothy (Judy) Smith of Millbury; a sister, Sherda (Tim) Warren of Point Place; a grandson, Derek of Hollywood, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. June 17, at Bluffton Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Renfrow will officiate.
Friends may call following services June 17, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bluffton Baptist Church.
