Edward J. Eiche

Edward J. Eiche, 73, of 700 Turner, died at 6:55 a.m. today, June 15, 1968, in Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 5, 1894, in Beaverdam, the son of Frank and Josephine Williams Eiche. He was married to Edna Vermillion, who survives.
Mr. Eiche, a retired steam crane operator for the Nickel Plate Railroad for 40 years, was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
Also surviving is a son, Ray of Montego Bay, Jamaica; two daughters, Mrs. C E. (Doris) Watt of 2057 Eastown Road, and Mrs. Glenn (Jane) Brantley of 1005 Fairview; a brother, Clayton of 1764 Breese Rd.; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Agnes) Wingate of Temperance, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Chiles and Sons-Laman West Wayne Street Chapel, Rev. Wesley Runk and Rev. John Berger officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
