JUNE MASON EVANS,
72, died March 10, 2005,
at Middlesboro Health Care.
She was born Sept. 26, 1932, in Middlesboro, Ky., to Hillary
and Mollie Mason, who preceded her in death. She married the Rev. Ira Levoy
Evans, who survives in Middlesboro, Ky.
She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors also include four daughters, Nancy (Steve) Hefner
of Lima, Patsy Bryant of Williamsburg, Ky., Roxie (John) Craig of Lima and
Star (Randy) Phelps of Middlesboro, Ky.; four sons, Tony (Deanna) Evans of
Adairsville, Ga., Tommy (Amy) Evans of Lima, Johnny (Janice) Evans of
Barbourville, Ky., and Donnie (Brenda) Evans of Lima; two sisters, Lauretta
(Cecil) Evans of Botanda West, Fla., and Joyce (Dirk) Johnson of Elida; two
brothers, Neal Mason of Venice,
Fla., and Larry (Kathy) Mason of Lima; a sister-in-law,
Roxie Maxwell of Satsuma, Fla.; and 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard, Leonard
Foster and Hillary Jr.; and six sisters, Helen Mason, Edith Cawood, Ada
Martin, Edna Sampson, Gracie Crites and Elizabeth Ackerman.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday at Creech Funeral Home,
Middlesboro, Ky. The Revs. Randy Phelps, Terry Brock and Rodney Mason will
officiate. Burial will be in Partin Cemetery, Middlesboro, Ky.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
