DALLAS JOSEPH GOLDEN, 42, died at 3:15 p.m. June 7, 2006,
from injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Michigan.
He was born Oct. 21, 1963, in
Lima, to William L. and Jerry Irene Tippie, who survive in Lima.
Mr. Golden was a driver and buyer for Denver Wholesale
Florist in Toledo. He had been employed
by
Don Johnson, Robert Brown Flowers, and Brothers Four, all of Lima. He was a
1983 graduate of Bath High School and Apollo Career Center. He loved gardening
and landscaping. With his time and talents, he was a kind, loving and giving
person.
Survivors also include three siblings, Jan (John T.) Butler,
June E. Golden and L. Alan Golden, all of Lima; a niece, Olivia T.J. Golden of
Harrod; a nephew, John W.T. Butler of Lima; and his maternal grandmother, Ruth
J. Tippie of Wapakoneta.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Dallas Eugene
Tippie and Clyde and Dessie Golden.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Lima Missionary
Baptist Church. The Revs. Terry Brock and Denny Hunter will officiate. Burial
will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Siferd
Funeral Home, Lima, and from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the church.
