Richard Larry Eschenbaum

Larry is the first grandchild of Ida & William Eschenbaum. He grew up on various farms in Faulk Co., So. Dak. from his grandfather's farm to one near Cresbard, S.D.
He graduated from Faulkton High School and went to college for a short time at USD in Vermillion, So. Dak.

Larry worked at Mickelson Implement from 1966 till it closed in 1985. He was in the parts department. He worked at Valley Farm in Milbank after that until 1988. After that he began working at Nelson Sales and Service in Aberdeen, now only during the summer being retired for the most part.

Larry married Thelma Rose Grenz on August 28, 1970

They have one son, Craig Lawrence born on April 22nd, 1972.

Thelma succumbed to diabetes at the age of 30 years old. It became a difficult time for Larry with an 8 year old boy dealing with
cerebral palsy. Now as of 2006 Larry is a happy grandfather of 3, two girls, Maleah & Victoria and 1 boy, Zachary. He is a close grandfather to Craig's children. Craig married Tracie Kraft on June 14th, 1997.
