1890 CHRISTIE CENSUS
I have not found any Christie/Christy or any soundex names that have survived the fire in the basement of the Commerce building in Washington DC. Ancestry.com, a subscription service for genealogy information, has an 1890 census substitute. These include fragments of the original census that survived, veterans records, state census records, telephone books, directories from Universities, voter registration records, and Native American census records.
