LATEST NEWS

I am pleased to announce that Pudden and CH. Zorro's last puppy found a home with a lovely lady who had lost her first Pug, a rescue, the very day she found she had breast cancer. We are happy to report that the lady's surgery went well and she is in recovery now. She also reports that her playful little girl, Nikie, is loving her to health.

All our earlier puppies of the past years have found new homes and are doing well. We are happy to report that Austin, the young dog of proud pappa Chuck, won a five point major at the Houston Dog Show in July, 2007. Chuck is on cloud 9.

I am married to Charles H. Tankersley.   This is my second time around; Tank insists on me keeping my Parsons last name as it is used for my kennel name and my five daughters were Parsons.   However, I do use the Tankersley name, too.

I have been a dog breeder for over 50 years and breeding PUGS most of those years.   I started with Cocker Spaniels, but quickly switched to Boxers.   When I moved into the current home, Boxers were too big for the small lot.   I sold the Boxer line and bought into PUGS.

I was born on a farm within walking distance of an old stagecoach stop, now a tiny town in East Central Pennsylvania, Whitehall, in the early spring of 1927.   I am the youngest of a large family, born 10 years younger than my nearest sibling.

Actually, with few kids near my age I was like an only child and I longed for a sibling and other playmates.   As it turned out, my dogs have been my playmates and companions for years. I love them to a fault.

You can e-mail me at my husband's address: [email protected]

Please feel free to visit the rest of my family, my husband, CHTANK, is my webmaster and built this home page for me. You can find him at CHTANK'S HOME PLACE.

I have five daughters; all have have families of their own. They have blessed me with 10 grandchildren, five of whom are now married. I now have 10 great grandchildren and more on the way. My daughters' brief biographies may be found on MY FAMILY

My PUG family photo album is MY PUG FAMILY. These pictures are old and ahve not been updated in several years.

One of my best friends operates a PUG RESCUE. Often puppies are purchased from puppy mills and pet stores who get their puppies from puppy mills. These poor animals are often cast out to fend for themselves when the vet bills get too high. The nature of PUGS is such that they must have human help, WWW.PUGHEARTS.COM!

Of course, one would like to see the standards for a PUG. The standards, and other information, can be found at the American Kennel Club or AKC

Let's not forget the Pug Dog Club of America or PDCA, either.
