Ordered by the court that James NORFLEET, Robert MURPHY and Benjamin ELLIOTT or any two of them settle with Sally CONNELL as guardian of ___ CONNELL & report to next court.
Upon affadavit of James GAMBILL it is ordered by the court that he be released from the payment of $500 on his stead here it appearing that the same is over charged and that the collector have a credit with the State Treasurer and County Trustee for the same.
Ordered by the court that Joel MOORE and Wm CAMPBELL Esquires settle with Jonathan BELL guardian for Wm DUNCAN's heirs & report to this court.
Ordered that Jno HUTCHINSON & Richard CHESTAN settle the amount current with Owen D. BATTLE guardian for Jethro B. FORT and James V.H. HAMPTON and report to this court.
Ordered that O.D. BATTLE have leave to with decree the courts current returned by him at August term last until Friday next.
A deed from William BAILEY to Samuel ___ for 130 acres of land was further proven in open court by the oath of John FINDLEY the other subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be registered.

BARBEE, Elijah WILLIS, Joseph RICE, Thomas STRICKLIN, John STRICKLIN, John ASHABRANNER, Sarah HOLLAND, Smith BALDRY, John BALDRY, John ADAMS, William B. Theophilus MORGAN, plaintiff vs Joshua HOWARD, defendant - Case.
This day came the parties by their attornies and thereupon came a jury of good and lawful men, To Wit, Oliver S. CONNELL, Jacob FISER, James RYAN, James MURPHEY Jr, Howell M. MOORE, John EDWARDS, Barnaba HART, Robert DRAUGHON, John MORRIS Sr., Sanford H. KING, Robert ___ & Joseph PITTS who being duly elected, tried, sworn the truth to speak upon the issue __ who after retiring from the bar returned into Court disagreed and by consent of the Court the jurors were being charged, admitted to disperse until tomorrow morning nine o'clock.
Upon petition of Wm CAMPBELL attorney in fact Aaron ORNDORFF it is ordered that Henry HART, James COUTS & George BARBEE together with Henry JOHNSON surveyor divide a tract of ___ acres of land lying in this County between said Aaron ORNDORFF & the heirs of David REMINGER dec'd and make return therein to the next term of this Court.
Leroy __ Plaintiff vs Anthony FISHER for the benefit of Green WOODARD, Defendant - Certiorari
This day came the parties in open Court & agrees & dismisses the suit and thereupon came Richard WOODARD in proper person and assumes the payment of costs - It is therefore considered by the Court that the suit stand dismissed & that the plaintiff recover of Richard WOODARD the costs in this behalf expended.

Edward D. HARDAWAY, Jethro MAINOR & Anderson GUNN, defendants - Debt
This day came the parties in open Court and the defendants E.D. HARDAWAY, Jethro MAINOR & Anderson GUNN acknowledged they doth owe to the plaintiff one hundred & twenty five dollars debt with ten dollars & forty cents interest thereon & confess judgement for same. It is therefore considered by the Court that the plaintiff recover of the defendants the same for one hundred and thirty five dollars & forty cents the debt and interest confessed as aforesaid & his cost by him about his suit in this behalf expended & the plaintiff stayed execution until the 25th of Decr. next.
An account current with the administration of Joseph ROBERTSON dec'd was returned into court examined, allowed & ordered to be recorded.
An account current with William POPE guardian for the minor heirs of Noah WOODARD dec'd was returned into Court, examined, allowed and ordered to be recorded.
The jury was then discharged from any other attendance at this time.
Court then adjourned until tomorrow morning nine o'clock.

John FORBES Esqr. returned into Court the bond of Elizabeth POWELL with security as the law directs for the indeminity of the County for keeping a bastard child begotten of her body and also paid unto office the fine in such cases made and provided.
The dower and division of the real estate of Epaphroditis BENTON dec'd amongst the widow and legatees of said dec'd was returned into Court and ordered to be recorded.
Upon the affadavit of Albert H. COLLIER filed he is excused from attending as a juror at this term.
Matthew WEST is excused from attending as a juror at this term it appearing to the Court satisfactorily that he is unable to attend.
Ordered that David BELLAMY oversee the road from John MILLER's to HARBY's Hill and he with the hands in the following bounds, to wit, beginning at Jno. MILLER's to Abel MAN, then to Mrs. SHAW's on __ branch then to the mouth of said branch then up Hollis Creek to Wm HOLLIS house then in a straight direction to the beginning, keep the same in repair according to law.
A deed from Susan STRICKLIN to Larkin STRICKLIN for 100 acres of land was proven by the oaths of Henry STRICKLIN and Joseph PITTS subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be registered.

Upon the petition of Miles DRAUGHAN praying leave to turn the road leading from Springfield to BROWNSFORD leaving the old road North's corner of his fence running a West course so as to intersect said road near Richard R. POWELL's farm. It is therefore ordered that Nathan ADAMS, James RYAN, ___ DUNN, Tho B. MATTHEWS and Richard MATTHEWS or other three of them view & examine the same and report to next court.
The Commissioners summoned to view the road prayed to be turned by Elisha PILANT reports favorable to the new road. It is therefore ordered by the court that the new road be ___ & that the overseer & hands work the same and keep it in repair according to law.
