Judge Lynn Died at Anniston Home Sunday
John F. Lynn, aged 87 years, a former Judge of the County Court of Mississippi County and a Justice of the Peace for more than 60 years died at his home at Anniston Sunday morning following a period of declining health for the past year or so.
He was a native of Illinois but came to Mississippi County when a young man and had spent the remainder of his life here and was quite prominently connected with the affairs of the county in various capacities several years ago.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Levisa Lynn, he is survived by five sons and two daughters. He was twice married, the first wife and mother of three of his sons, dying several years ago. He also leaves one brother Jerome Lynn of Louiseville, Ark, and two step-children, W.E. Small of Charleston and Mrs. Edith Chandler of Salina Ohio.
The funeral was held at the Christian Church of Anniston, of which he had been a member for several years, Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.

Funeral service 11: a.m. Tuesday, Aug 1 at the Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Road, Florissant. Entombment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 2-9 p.m. Monday. Memorial gifts to the Trinity Baptist Church, 920 Linsay Lane, Florissant, MO 63031, preferred.
