Parlee P. Walton was born May 11th 1839 in
Robertson County near Springfield, TN, to
Elizabeth Gordon-Walton and David James Walton
and departed this life at 12:30, December 27, 1919.
She was married to George W. Randolph Aug 27th 1856
and to this union four children were born. The
daughter Florence, died in August, 1884 and the
living are Simeon F. Randolph of Jett, Oklahoma,
Robert L. Randolph of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Dessau S.
Randolph of Okeene Oklahoma. The family moved from TN
to Harper Kansas in 1884 and from there to the present
homestead east of Okeene in 1892. Very early in life
the deceased joined the old Hopewell Baptist church
near Springfield from which her membership was never
removed. A few weeks ago during a devotional service,
Mrs. Randolph said she felt that she was safely under
His wing. Funeral service was held at the Baptist Church
in Okeene, after which the body was tenderly laid away
to rest in the Rose Lawn Cemetery.
