Before Photos

My first impression of the Cemetery was a jungle and neglect.

But even so, I felt a sense of ownership as I noticed the sign (Cemetery is misspelled).

Please note that in this photo you still cannot see any stones.

But soon we found a sign of a stone way back in the weeds.

And there it is, one of our first discovories.

At some point, someone came to the Cemetery to try to mark out the few stones that were important to them.

Note the stone under the tree to the left.

Soon, we found a couple more stones, though the going was tough.

One stone has led to another, and another.

But we are still surrounded by jungle.

It seemed that our progress was little.

But soon we found more stones, many of which we almost had to trip over to find.

By the end of the first day, we were exhausted and filthy. On this trip I was using a weed eater with a metal blade, and a chainsaw; along with various other hand-tools.
