John Walker is on the 1841 census as residing at the Walker's ancestral home in Rottington.� In 1851 he is on the� census for Whitehaven as a provisions dealer in James Street.� In 1856 he is mentioned in his brother, Ezekial's will as a shopkeeper in Whitehaven.� Mary is on the 1841 as being born in Cumberland but on the 1851 census, John Walker's wife and a shop assistant being born in Manchester.

Henry's birthplace is shown on the 1851 census as Scotland.� Henry must have had some sort of accident or died of an illness as he died 13th February 1852 at the age of only 16 years and is buried with his parents at St.Bees Churchyard.

ii.�MARGARET WALKER, b. 12 December 1836, Rottington, Cumberland, England; d. Aft. 1901, Cumberland; m. JOHN JEFFREY, After her mother, Mary and her father John died, Margaret must have moved to Distington as she is on the 1881 census as an annuant and boarding with James Coupland and his family in Distington.
