Tighlman Alonzo Mitchell and Minerva Kathleen (Davis) Mitchell with their children
Edgar Lee (b. 1874), Glen Wood (b. 1876) and Margaret Lillian (b. 1880).T.A. and
Minerva were born and married in Grainger County, Tennessee. In October of 1873, they
moved to Kansas and settled on a homestead one mile west of Hope, Kansas. T.A. worked as
a farmer and carpenter. Later they moved to Hope where he became engaged in the
coal business.

Rudolph and Bertha Mangold, Wedding Picture

Wedding picture of Rudolph MANGOLD and Bertha FAELBER, taken in Dickinson Co.
They were married 20 Oct 1902 so I would assume it was taken then. He was 20 and she
was 18 years old. Rudolph MANGOLD is son of Heinrich "Henry" MANGOLD and Elizabeth
SPRECHER. Bertha FAELBER is daughter of Louisa DAETWEILER and Louisa's first husband,
Fred FAELBER (He died in Ohio, 1875).

ABNER HARRIS, son of Samuel HARRIS Sr., and Mary BATESON was born 6 Nov 1840
in Putnam County, Ohio. He married Elizabeth WILKINS 29 Feb 1876. Elizabeth was born
30 Dec 1848 at Leipsic, Ohio and died 17 April 1940. They removed to Clay County, Kansas.
Two children: Caroline Gertrude Harris born 10 Dec 1876 at Clay Center, Kansas; Howard S.
Harris born 1879 and died 2 August 1879.

Caroline Gertrude Harris born 10 Dec 1876 married Allen H. CAMPBELL (24 Dec 1905)
born 11 April 1874 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Allen died 12 Sept 1951 Clay Center,
Kansas. They had one son: Harris Lloyd Campbell born 17 Dec 1908 Clay Center, Kansas, died
May 2000. He married 11 Aug 1937 Twila Ellen LLOYD, born 23 May 1908 and died 27
Dec 1988, Clay Center, KS. Two children: Karen Kay Campbell born 29 Dec 1940 Clay Center
and Lorinda Linn Campbell born 12 Feb 1942 Clay Center and died 6 Jan 1996 Osage City, KS.
