A Google Books 'snippet' from a Catholic Records Society publication mentions a Mrs. TILBURY of Bishops Waltham, apostate, who remarried. If William below had been the first child baptised outside the Catholic church, then that might account for the gap between James' & Charity's marriage in 1794 and the first apparent child (William) being baptised in 1805 (although other children may have died) (see also '1818 Will of James TILBURY of Sussex' page) - C.   2.
