John PAKENHAM and * TYLBY: this may have been of the same group as the TILBURY and variants. TILBY and TILBURY were often confused in later centuries at least. Some researchers of the TILBE(E), TILBY group consider their ascendants to have been two Huguenot brothers who arrived on the south coast of England in the 16th century. The reference in the quoted document is for the end (at least) of the 14th century.
