All that well-known eligibly-situated DWELLING-HOUSE, (formerly the Old Cook Shop), nearly the top of Pump-street, in the aforesaid city, continguous to the different markets, now in the occupation of Samuel Tilbury, at an old rent, very improvable.
The Premises are Leasehold under the Corporation of Worcester, and were renewed at Lady-day, 1807.
The Tenant, on application, will cause the Premises to be shewn, and for further particulars apply to mr. Platt, Solicitor, bridge-street, or the Auctioneer.

Allegation [witness statement] by Elizabeth TILBURY (Wife of Samuel TILBURY of the Parish of Saint John in Bedwardine, in Worcester, Tailor) aged about forty-seven years.
"I knew very little of Mr. James WILCOX, the deceased in this Cause, till such time as I was called upon to attend upon him in his illness; I was his nurse during such period: I attended him for fifteen days and nights before his death, and I was with him when he died. He died on a Sunday, about noon, between twelve and one o'clock, the day of the month was I think the eighteenth of December, and it is two years ago last December. I was in the habit at that time of going out nursing, it was through Mr. TURLEY, the doctor, that I was led to wait on the Deceased; he lodged at Mr. TUNSTALL's in the Henwick-road ... it was a Saturday when I went to the Deceased, for he [Mr. WILCOX] remarked to me, that it must be awkward for me to leave my family being market-day ...."

Last evening, at the Sebright Arms, London Road, near the city, on Samuel Tilbury, aged about 70 years, who died rather suddenly, at his lodgings at Red Hill, on Saturday morning. The deceased ws taken unwell on Friday evening, and died a few hours afterwards in the presence of a neighbour who sat up with him. Mr. Turley, after making an examination, gave his opinion that death resulted from natural decay, and a verdict of "Died by the visitation of God" was accordingly returned.

MONUMENT TO JOHN WESLEY
At a public meeting held at Epworth, the principal town in the Isle of Axholme, North Lincolnshire, and the birth-place of John WESLEY, the founder of the sect of Wesleyan Methodists, it was unanimously resolved: - "That a statue, in accordance with a design submitted to the meeting by Mr. Henry TILBURY, artist, Doncaster, be erected in some convenient place in the town of Epworth, the birth place of the late John WESLEY; the requisite fund to be raised by a national penny subscription. A committee was formed, with Mr. G. DUNN, M.D., of Doncaster, at the head, for the purpose of carrying out the object of the meeting."

The design of the proposed monument represents John WESLEY attired in a gown, with a Bible in his hand, and preaching from a tombstone, he having once delivered a sermon from the stone over his father's grave in Epworth churchyard.
"The enthusiasm of Dr DUNN for the project had clearly made its mark for we read in The Times that Mr Henry TILBURY, who was an artist and well known painter and watercolourist, of Doncaster had come to the meeting with a drawing of the proposed monument. Mr TILBURY's drawing for the monument was a standing statue of WESLEY preaching on his father's grave in St Andrew's church yard in Epworth. ..."
