Delberts now favorite song! - ALLELUIA
Arr. by Alton H Howard
Allelula, alleluia, Alleluia, alleluia;
Allelula, alleluia, Alleluia, alleluia;

I will praise Him, I will praise Him, I will praise Him, I will praise Him;
I will praise Him, I will praise Him, I will praise Him, I will praise Him;

What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear;
What a privilege to carry, Evrything to God in prayer;

He's my Savior, my Redeemer, How He love me, how I love Him;
He is risen, He is coming, Lord, come quickly, Alleluia!

This prayer is so powerful....Just watch God's answer to prayer work in your life. .....Of all the free gifts we may receive, Prayer is the very best one ..... There are no costs, but wonderful rewards .... Let's continue praying for one another ..

A Prayer

Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now.
I am asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy.
Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them.
Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding, patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading.
Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew them by revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You.
Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to them Your courage.
Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life.
Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it.

I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name. In Love, Your Friend

Tuesday morning about 2:00 A. M. our loving brother went to be with our Lord! He had put up a good fight with a sad illness that robs us of our memories and strength. Our loss is heavens gain, our memories are filled with laughter and tall tales! (and horses tails)

THIS IS THE POEM PRINTED ON THE FUNERAL PROGRAM FOR OUR LOVING BROTHER..........J W "JAY" COALY 1927 - 2002

* * *Jay was a farmer and rancher and was buried in his overalls
with his can of Mountain Dew by his side!* * *

I've met a heap o'cowboys,
and some was real top hands.
I saw a million cattle
and read a lot o brands.

I've seen some hard old winters
when nearly all the cattle died.
I've rode some cutting horses
that could turn right out their hides.

I ate my share o'beef steak
and drunk some Mt.Dew
and did a little fishin'
with nothin' else to do.

Been bucked off old outlaws
that I couldn't start to ride.
And saw some fine old buddies
go over the Great Divide.

With friends and family now
I'm makin' my last stand
And hopin' to be horseback
when I reach the promised land.

A Poem... Remembering Jay's DASH!

J W "Jay Coaly 1927 - 2002

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of our friend
He referred to the dates on his tombstone
From the beginning ............to the end.

He noted that first came his date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the... dash... between those years. (1927 - 2002)

For that dash represents all the time
That Jay spent alive on earth.....
And now only those who loved him
Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own;
The cars.....the house.....the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our..... dash.

So think about this long and hard,
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left,
That can still be re-arranged.,

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real,
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger, (and criticize)
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect,
And more often wear a smile...(as Jay did)
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy's being read
With your life's actions to rehash...
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?

Dear God, I hope so!

Living for Jesus, a life that is true. Striving to please HIM in all that I do.
Yielding allegiance, glad hearted and free. This is the pathway of blessing FOR ME!

Oh JESUS, LORD and SAVIOR, I give myself to Thee; For thou in thy atonement, didst give
Thyself for me;

I own no other Master, my heart shall be Thy throne; my life I give, hence-forth to live

Portrait of a Friend

I can't give solutions to all of life's problems, doubts, or fears.
But I can listen to you, and together we will search for answers.

I can't change your past with all it's heartache and pain,
nor the future with its untold stories.
But I can be there now when you need me to care.

I can't keep your feet from stumbling.
I can only offer my hand that you may grasp it and not fall.

Your joys, triumphs, successes, and happiness are not mine;
Yet I can share in your laughter.

Your decisions in life are not mine to make, nor to judge;
I can only support you, encourage you, and help you when you ask.

I can't prevent you from falling away from friendship,
from your values, from me.
I can only pray for you, talk to you and wait for you.

I can't give you boundaries which I have determined for you,
But I can give you the room to change, room to grow, room to be yourself.

I can't keep your heart from breaking and hurting,
But I can cry with you and help you pick up the pieces and put them back in place.

I can't tell you who you are.
I can only love you and be your friend.

God's Work

1. Be ye fishers of men.. You catch them - He'll clean them.
2. Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.
3. Don't put a question mark where God put a period.
4. Don't wait for 6 strong men to take you to church.
5. Forbidden fruits create many jams.
6. God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
7. God grades on the cross, not the curve.
8. God loves everyone, but probably prefers "fruits of the spirit" over "religious nuts!"
9. God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.
10. He who angers you, controls you!
11. If God is your Copilot - swap seats!
12. Most people want to serve God, but only in an advisory capacity.
13. Prayer: Don't give God instructions, just report for duty!
14. The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.
15. The Will of God will never take you to where the Grace of God will not protect you.
16. We don't change the message, the message changes us.
17. You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to discourage him!

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.
