TIMELINE
1800-1813 TN - John COLBAUGHs approximate birth from census records

1812-1813 TN - Celia "Elizabeth" TAYLOR COLBAUGH's approximate birth from census records

1813-1817 TN - Elizabeth STEVENS COLBAUGHs approximate birth from census records

NOTE: The bible records of Azariahs family seem to indicate that Celia TAYLOR COLBAUGH was the wife of John COLBAUGH, but Zachariah Taylor's death certificate lists his mother as Elizabeth STEVENS, John Jesse's death certificate has an error in that it names he and his wife as his parents, and Sarah Green and Samuel Morgan COLBAUGHs death certificates dont name their parents. Does anyone have any information confirming either mother?

MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION
There was an article about the Clear Creek area south of Clifty, AR in the "Madison County Musings", Vol IV, Fall 1985, No.3, "Life and Settlement on Clear Creek", by Willie Bohannan, pages 106-114, published by the Madison County Genealogical and Historical Society, PO Box 427, Huntsville, AR 72740-0427.
Willie Bohannan stated the the Bohannan's came from eastern TN to Madison Co, AR (late 1830's and 1840's) and that they were closely associated with the families of John Todd, Thomas Harp, John Colbaugh, Andrew Terpin, William P. Trolinger, John Evans, Isaac Whiteley, John Trout, Sanford and Search Denney and the Lea family.
*NOTE: I contacted descendants of these other families and traced them back to TN. They came from a wide area of eastern Tennessee. No one knew of a family connection to the COLBAUGHs. So far the "close association" is where they settled in Madison County, AR.
