I have this rather
large portrait of Gotlieb Schmidt and his wife Kathrina Opp Schmidt
It looks as if it
were done in charcoal, but I'm not sure.

Seated far right is
my grandfather, JACOB WALCKER (Walker). As for the other people in this
photo...there have been suggestions that seated to his left is his brother
Fred? and standing far right is his brother Lewis (Louie)?. He had two
sisters, Rosina (Rose) and Julia but I don't know which is which in this
photograph. He also had three more brothers (Christ, Henry and John) so
those names are
possibilities for
this photo as well. If you know anything about this photo, please contact

(Opp) Walker. I am wondering if he married.and had children.
