Welcome to my Settle Family Web Site. Many hours have been put into the preparation, research and documentation of these records.
James Seatle (Seatle, as it was originally spelled) and his wife, Hannah Rippon and their children, came to Cole Harbour, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, in the early 1800's, from the Cartmel area, of Lancashire, England. Today many of their descendants still live in and around the area of Cole Harbour, with other descendants living in Atlantic Canada, throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.
