John DRISCOLL bc 1822 Bandon, Cork, Ireland m. a Kathleen or Catherine (Maiden name unknown) bc 1824/25 she d. Dec. 1/4 1895 Cornwall, England. I believe John DRISCOLL Snr. was still alive on 1901 census living in Wales possibly with son John, still to check that out. They had 4 children:
- John bc 1849 Bandon, Cork, Ireland
- William bc 1857 Blandford, Kent, England
- Charles Cornelius bc 1858 St.Austell, Cornwall, England
- Mary bc 1859 St.Austell, Cornwall, England
Brother & sister, Charles & Mary emigrated to New Zealand and lived in Hawke Bay. Mary m. 14 May 1876 Weslyn Church, Napier, Hawke Bay, NZ John William COOK (this is where my eldest adopted daughter comes in) when Mary wished to marry, her brother Charles agreed to her marriage as Mary was under age.
