- According to naturalization record:
- Born August 15, 1806, in Berehaven, County Cork, Ireland.
- Arrived in U.S. on or about July 17, 1840.
- Occupation: Cordwainer (shoemaker)
- Witnesses: John Cahill and John Curran, both of Randolph.
- Citizenship granted on October 20, 1852.
- Mass. Soldier, Sailors, & Marines of Civil War, published in
1890, Vol III, pg 672-
- Timothy Driscoll, 45 (apparently lied about his age), enlisted
July 31, 1862, mustered Aug. 19, 1862, Discharged May 5, 1863 from Fort Monroe
, VA on disability. Shown as from Randolph and a boot maker. 35th Mass.
Volunteer Infantry Regiment.

- shows him reenlisting on September 30, 1863 for a 3 year term.
Mustered May 2, 1864 . Discharged September 5, 1866, Private Independent
