Maude Bee Kenney and Berd Asbery were married in McKinney in June of 1905. I wonder what information I'll need to request a copy of the certificate from the county clerks office? I know the Asbery's migrated from TN, and Maude Kenney was one of two girls born to John W. Kenney and Nora Edna Ward prior to his death as a Marshal in 1889. Death could have been anywhere within the northern (Marshal) district of TX. Cannot find death certificate or cemetery record for him, or for Nora Edna Ward Kenney Laney...smile and wish me luck!

Looking for information on the family of C.C. Evans born 1894 in GA and died 3/15/1965 in McKinney, Collin County. Texas. He married 1) Udia (Lydia Elizada) LYNN and had 4 children. He married 2) Myrtle Littlefield and had 4 children. Udia died in 1930 and is buried in Allen Cemetery. C.C. and Myrlte Evans are both buried at New Wylie Cemetery. From the death certificate of C.C. EVANS, his fathers name was Willis Evans. Any information on this family would be most appreciated.

My great grandmother was Cornelia Rose Taylor. She married Finis Watson Ivie. She was born Feb 3 1870 in Alabama to Robert and M.J. Taylor. I have her Obit. from an unknown Dallas paper, unfortunately it is not dated, so I don't know the exact date of her death, on a Thursday in a McKinney hospital. She was 85 years old, so I am guessing the year to be around 1955.
Finis Watson Ivie Died in 1934. They had 8 children: Fannie and Willie, who preceded her in death. Thelma Morrow of Farmersville, Mattie Glass of Fort Worth (my grandmother); Sudie Bell Woodall of Dallas; Tom of Farmersville; Roy and Taylor of McKinney.
I have much of the family geneology from the the last 2 generations. I am having a great deal of difficulty locating marriage and birth information for Cornelia and Finis. Any help will be appreciated. Special thanks to Lovenia Taylor of Farmersville for all of her help.
