Reminiscences of 1862 From:

The Examiner: McKinney, Texas, Thursday, September 11, 1913 - Vol. 27, No. 42

[Transcriber's Note: The information for these men who joined the C.S.A. in McKinney in 1862, is what was known of them in 1913 by the compiler of the list. See his note at the end. The list begins in loose alphabetical order, but this breaks down completely about half way. Be sure to brouse the entire list for your surname. Some names are repeated.]

This list being made from the muster rolls of 1863 and 1864 is incomplete as a number of men enlisted in 1864 and 1865. This will call to memory many whose names had been lost to those who survive. The writer would be pleased to hear from any member of this company whose location is not here given. The blank space after each name means that the writer does not know whether dead or living. He expects to follow this with some reminiscences of the war. [Signed] R. C. HORN.
