Garner Comments: Looking for an Obit or death Certificate for Samantha J. Garner (S.J.) Died in 1923 and buried in the Crossroads Cemetery. ed note:The listing at Crossroads 1851-1923 doesnt give much information. The only other Garner I find is Marshall E Mar 1 1907- May 10 1933. Texas Death records say he died in Fannin county. Listed as Marshall Early Garner.
In 1880 there is a James Garner in Denton county. Im thinking he died and they buried him across the line at Crossroads and then she was buried with him later. By 1972 his stone is gone. There was a lot of vandalism up there awhile back. His wife is listed as Seneth J and is quite a bit younger than him. Marshall may be a grandson.
1920 census lists her in Leonard, Fannin county with her son and family. In 1910 she was living in Ellis county. Her son Bartholomew b abt 1885 died in 1956 in Fannin county. I dont find her listed in ancestry or in the McKinney Newspaper obituaries.

Rich Comments: I am searching for info on Killian & Minerva Rich in Collin Co., TX. He was my ggggrandfather. I am trying to find the names of his children and hopefully, their children. Would you possibly have any records about him. He was born abt. 1838 in IL and married Minerva (Woolever) Rich on Aug. 9, 1859. His father was John Wesley and his mother was Nancy Crack. I have found on the internet that Killian dies in 1881 in Collin Co., TX, but I do not know if the date is accurate. My sister thinks that he was buried at Lowry's Crossing. I found a marriage for J H Rich to Martha Murr in 1882, Jesse James was born to them in 1885 Myrtle in 1896, Loyd in 1900, Minnie in 1902;Maggie in 1904; married Sallie Hartfield in 1916, and married Eliza Norman in 1939. A death for Mrs J H Rich in 1914.

In 1920 she is living with Al and family on Dump Rd. which was another name for St Paul.
All of Al's children list Alford Monroe Rich and Annie Bell Rollins on their delayed birth certificates.
