Two sons and a daughter of Samuel D. Moreland and Rachel Lindsay of Prince George Co., MD spent their lives in early DC. Most of their descendants are found there through the 1930 census. I have found this line to be very interesting. Background information on Samuel and Rachel Moreland can be found in the two volumes of "Morelands of Southern Maryland" by Ralph Smith.
