Matilda Moreland, wife of Jesse Moreland, deceased has departed this life and she held property consisting of slave for her life under the will of her husband, and it appears that Frederick Ducan who qualified as executor of the will said Jesse Moreland has settled up the estate before the death of his widow and is now a nonresident of the state of KY. Upon the motion of Preston Moreland, administrator with the will annexed of said Jesse Moreland is granted by the court and took said oath required by law.

        3 ii. Isabelle Moreland, born Abt. 1781.  She married William Ponton.
        4 iii. John W. Moreland, born Abt. 1782.  He married Elizabeth Ponton.
        5 iv. Andrew Moreland, Jr., born Abt. 1783.  He married Elizabeth Lee Rucker.

1765 Jason Morelan [sic] and Ann Richardson, both members of our meeting married contrary to discipline. Disowned. They were reinstated in 1770. In 1777 Jason and Ann Morelan were condemned for holding slaves and for selling a slave into bondage, disowned 1777. Their children, Sarah, Rebecca, Ann, Jason and Joseph were removed some years ago with their parents and settled near Redstone PM, PA. All granted certificate Hopewell MM, VA in 1783. In 1810 Jason and Ann requested reinstatement at Middleton MM, OH.

1758 Sarah Morlan wife of William produced certificate Chesterfield, NJ. Accepted. Also for children having settled near Redstone some years ago with her husband William. Sarah and children are granted certifcate Hopewell MM, VA 1783.
