William CONNELLY, CONNALLY, O'CONNALLY? from Ireland? to NC? then to Virginia? Anderson CONNALLY / CONDLEY (b.1785-92 Halifax VA, d.1838 Giles Co.TN), m. Catherine COBB(s) (b.1785 Halifax VA, d.1838 Giles Co. TN). Marriage: November 22, 1813. Catherine's parents were Robert COBB and Catherine of Halifax Co., VA.
1828-1838: Family home was in the name of Catherine Cobb, Catherine Condley and Anderson Condley- along Bradley Creek, N. side of Banister River, W. of Terrible Creek. March 1829 sold to William PRINGLE. Family then moved to Lincoln Co., TN (1830 Lincoln Co.TN Census); then to Giles Co., TN.
Anderson CONDLEY and Catherine COBBS COBB- CONDLEY both died approximately 1838, Giles Co., TN.� They were found in the 1830 Census for Lincoln County, TN, and no records can be located on them, after that time.�
CHILDREN of Anderson & Catherine. All except Meredith, born in Halifax, VA.
1) Elisha Thomas CONDLEY, b. 1814, (m. Elizabeth BECK)-- Virginia, Giles Co., TN, Benton Co., Hickory Co., Missouri.� Elisha was a prominent citizen of Benton/Hickory Co., Missouri, he was a land owner (120 acres), farmer, merchant, blacksmith, and master of the Masonic Fraternity.� Elisha and Elizabeth are both buried at Cross Timbers Cemetery, Hickory County, Missouri.�
2) Sarah CONDLEY, CONLEY, b. 1815 (m. Ambrose Jack COBB), Virginia, Giles Co., TN,- Dover, Pope Co., Arkansas.� Ambrose Jack COBB was a cousin.� He died in the 1860's, killed by Bushwackers during the Civil War.� Sarah Conley Cobb lived until 1907, and died in Dover, Pope Co., AR� Both Sarah and Ambrose Cobb are buried at the Old Lake Cemetery, Dover, Pope Co., AR (no markers).��
3) Robert William CONDLEY,� CONLEY "Robt, Wm, Wm Robt" b. 1817 (m. Susan Jane WARREN, m. Tempie C. FREEMAN), VA- Giles Co., TN, to Pope Co., AR--- Cowley Co., Kansas, and back to Pope Co., AR.�� Served in the Civil War.� Susan Jane WARREN was a cousin, related through the COBB family.� Robert Condley is buried at the Appleton Cemetery, Pope Co., AR (no marker).� The exact date of death for Susan Jane Warren is unknown, but she is believed to be buried at McFadden Cemetery, Dover, Pope Co., AR (no marker).� Tempie Chestina Davis-Freeman- CONDLEY- CONLEY is buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Pope Co., AR.� TEMPIE CONLEY.�
4) Epaphroditus D.CONDLEY, "E.D." b.1818 (m. Mary A. CALHOUN) , VA- TN- Pope/Conway Co., AR, Served in the Civil War.� E.D. CONLEY is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Jerusalem, Conway Co., AR.�
5) Beverley S. CONDLEY b. 1820, (m. Elizabeth MORRIS), VA- Pope Co, AR- Searcy Co., AR- Beverly served in the Civil War, died while imprisoned, Murfeesboro, TN.� Wife Elizabeth later moved to California and died in 1910, Fresno, CA
6) Meredith M. CONDLEY, b. 1830, TN, m. Nancy COBB, Martha Abernathy? and Elizabeth E. Lnu (Cobb?).� We do not know where Meredith died, or where he is buried.�
