Stone Church, Sept. 15.--The funeral of Bernard
Marion, whose death occured September 10, was held at St. Bridget's church,
Bergen, on Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Mr. Marion, who was 71 years
of age, was born in Ireland, coming to this country in 1848. For
the past 49 years Mr. Marion had conducted a blacksmith shop at Stone Church.
He is survived by a wife and eight children: Frank and John Marion
of Buffalo: Edward, Peter, and Joseph, Catherine and Mary, of Stone
Church, and Mrs. Andrew Corcoran, of Bergen.

Her Death This Morning From Cardiac Asthma
Miss Catherine Marion died at 6 o'clock this
morning at her home, No. 38 Thomas avenue, from Cardiac Asthma. She
had been in ill health for several years.
Miss Marion was born in Bergen and had always
resided there until the family moved to Batavia five years ago. She
was a memer of the Bergen C.W.B.L., a devout Christian and a patient sufferer
in her long illness. and was held in general esteem. She is
survived by four brothers, Frank B. of Buffalo, Edward B., Joseph and Peter
J. Marion, all of Batavia, and two sisters, Miss Mary Marion of Batavia
and Mrs. Andrew Corcoran of South Byron.
The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock on Monday
morning from St. Joseph's church and the interment will be in the Catholic
cemetary at Bergen.
Frank Marion 1941
Frank Marion, a lifelong resident of LeRoy,
died Monday evening, February 10, 1941 at the farm in Wheatland, where
he had been employed. Death was due to a heart attack.
Mr. Marion was born in LeRoy on April 15,
1870, and was the son of Patrick and Mary Wood Marion. On November
20, 1906, Mr. Marion married Miss Katherine E. Hart of LeRoy who survives
along with a sister, Mrs. Frank Hart of Rochester.
Services for Mr. Marion were held from St.
Peter's Church, of which Mr. Marion was a member, this morning. Interment
was in the St. Francis Cemetary.
Mrs. Mary Marion 1907
Stone Church, June 14.--Mrs. Marion, widow
of Patrick Marion, died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, after a lingering
illness, at her home a mile southeast of Stone Church, in the town of LeRoy,
aged 76 years.
Mrs. Marion was born in Ireland and came to
this country when 12 years of age. She had lived on the farm where
she died nearly 60 years and had many friends and was much beloved by all
who knew her. She is survived by seven children--Nicholas of Detroit,
Mich; Thomas of Hubbardston, Mich; Edward, who lived at home with his sister,
Mrs. Clara Breeslyn; Frank Marion of LeRoy, Mrs. Margaret Ottnot of Rochester
and Mrs. Frank Hart of LeRoy.
The funeral will be held at St. Peter's church,
LeRoy, at 9 o'clock on Monday morning, with interment in St. Francis's
cemetary.

Her Death at Her Home at Stone Church Came Unexpectedly
Stone Church, Feb 12.--Mrs. Mary Marion, a
lifelong resident of Stone Church, died on Monday morning of heart failure
resulting from the grip. She had not been thought seriously ill and
the end came unexpectedly.
Mrs. Marion was seventy years of age and all
her life since her marriage 54 years ago last June had been spent in the
house in which she died. She had always been a faithful member of
St. Bridget's church of Bergen. She leaves eight children.
Frank and John Marion of Buffalo, Peter and Mary Marion of Batavia, Mrs.
Andrew Corcoran of Byron and Catherine, Edward and Joseph Marion, who live
at home. She also leaves three sisters, Misses Catherine and Margaret
Keenan and Mrs. John McCormick of Riga.
The funeral was held this morning, at 9 o'clock
from the house and at 10 o'clock from St. Bridget's church at Bergen.
Teachers in the Washington avenue school in Batavia and pupils of the sixth
grade of that school, where Miss Mary Marion is teacher, sent flowers.

He had lived 48 years on the Stone Church Farm where he died.
Stone Church, Aug 23--The death of Patrick
Marion occurred yesterday at his home a mile southeast of Stone Church
in the town of LeRoy aged 78 years. He had lived on the farm where
he died for 48 years. He was a quiet, upright &honorable man
and all who knew him were his friends. Besides his widow Mr. Marion
is survived by four sons and three daughters, Nicholas of Detroit, Mich.;
Thomas of Hubbardston, Mich.; Edward of Buffalo, Mrs. Margaret Ottnat
of Rochester, Mrs. John Breslyn of Austin, PA.; and Frank and Anna who
live at home. He is also survived by three brothers, Bernard of Stone
Church, Peter of Greece and Matthew of Hubbardston, Mich. The funeral
will be held at St. Peter's church tomorrow at 9 A.M. with interment in
St. Francis cemetary.
