Karen was the daughter of Elna and Jens (Emil) Andersen.
She had blue eyes and fair skin.
She was about 5' 2".
She was born on November 24, 1906 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
She arrived in the Port of New York
aboard the ship named SS United States on October 11, 1920

She travelled to America with her maternal grandparents, Gertine and John Hansen,
and her aunt Mary Hansen, and Uncles Nelson Hansen and Elmer Hansen

On August 29, 1929 she married Ivar Lawrence Larsonin New Haven, Connecticut

Ivar was born on December 20, 1900 in New Haven, Connecticut.
Ivar was a master plumber, and Karen was a housewife.
Together, they had 3 children,

In 1951 Karen became a naturalized citizen of the United States
and received hernaturalization certificate

Ivar and Karen lived on View Street in New Haven.
They lived for 17 years on Ott Road in Cheshire
with their daughter Dorothy, and their son-in-law Arthur Civitelli,
whom they thought of as a son.

On September 27, 1980 Ivar Lawrence Larson died.
