There is evidence of Jacob Coots living in East Tenn. either in Clariborn or Grainger county
Tenn. and selling out in the 1820's and leaving. Then you find his children marrying in
Morgan county Indiana. And there is a Jacob Coots living there.
Jacob Coots 50-60 and wife 40-50 with 9 boys and 2 girls
Andrew Coots 40-50 and wife 30-40 no children
Marriages for Morgan county Indiana:
Uriah Coots & Elizabeth B. Gross 3 Jun 1833
Andrew Coots 7 Polly Reynolds 27 Dec 1832
Uriah Coots' wife dies after Jemima is born and he marrys Susannah Bryant 25 Dec 1835 in
Crawford county Missouri.
I can not find Uriah in 1840, he should be in Indiana according to children being born.
