COOTS, Gerald Dean Sr.
74 of Brooksville, passed away Thursday, Nov 2, 1995, at his residence. He was born in La grange, Georgia, and came here 14 years ago from Hollywood, Florida.
He was a Baptist by faith and a member of the Brooksville Baptist Church, Brooksville, Florida. He retired from Lawson Industries, Miami, Florida, after 18 years. He also worked for eleven years at Look Products, Miami, FL.
Mr Coots was a World War II, Air Force Veteran.
Survived by his wife, Mary Frances Coots, Brooksville, FL; two daughters: Anne(Mrs Joe) Brown and Paula Pacitti; two sons: Gerald Jr and James Harold, all of Brooksville, FL; two brothers: Ernest B. of Archer, FL; and Eddie Frank, Tampa, FL; 14 grandchildren, including, Troy Alan Coots, of Tampa, FL; who was raised by Mr & Mrs Coots from five months of age, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received, Sunday, Nov 5th, at the Brooksville chapel of Brewer Memorial Funeral Homes from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Chapel Service will be held on Monday, Nov 6th, at 11:30 a.m. officiated by Pastor Chris Wheeler. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donation be made to Hernando/Pasco Hospice.

72 of Brooksville, Florida, passed away Friday, Feb 16, 1996.
He was born in La Grange, Georgia and came here 14 years ago from south Florida.
He was a Protestant by faith.
Retired U.S. Army Veteran of the 559th Anti Aircraft Artillery Battalion and has received the European and American Theater Medal, a Bronze Star, the Victory Medal, and Rifle Sharp Shooter Medal.
Survived by: Brother, Ernest B of Archer, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received today (Feb 19th) from 2-4 p.m. at The Brooksville Chapel of Brewer Memorial Funeral Home
Grave side services with Military Honors provided by the V.F.W. Post 10209 will be held on Tuesday, Feb 20th at 1 p.m., at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
