Scrubber Chimney

This was part of a scrubbing mill where quarried flagstone [Haslingden Flags] were made smooth - ti collapsed in the winter of 1984/5.

Ogdens Reservoir

This was completed in 1912, fearing pollution by the population, the water company de-populated the area by terminating leases on all the cottages and farms in the valley.

Calf Hay Reservoir

There are ruins of Cottages [one with a pantry cut out of solid rock] and farms with very informative information boards giving details of their history and layout. They were farms with their own weaving frames in a separate room in the cottage
