Geo. Sammons } This Indenture made this 19th day of November Deed 100 acres } in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred From Saml Hogg } and twenty five between Samuel Hogg of the Reg. 23rd Oct 1826 } County of Wilson and State of Tennessee } of the one part and George Sammons of the ) County of Williamson and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the Said Samuel Hogg for and in Consideration of the Sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the Said George Sammons the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained, Sold aleined Conveyed and Confirmed and doth by these presents Sell alien Convey and Confirm unto the Said George Sammons his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Williamson on the Waters of Big Harpeth River Containing one hundred acres be the Same more Or less and bounded as follows Beginning at the forks of Harpeth an a hickory and ash runing north eighty nine and a half poles to a Stake in Masons? line thence west One hundred and Seventy two poles to a Stake George Jordans line thence South Eighty nine and half poles to a Stake in Hoggs South boundary line and Jordans? South East Corner thence East a long Said line to the beginning To have And to hold, the Said above Named tract of land north all and Singular the appurtenances thereto belonging to the Said George Sammons his heirs or assigns forever and the Said Samuel Hogg for himself his heirs or executors doth Warrant and Forever defend the title of Said Land to the Said George Sammons his heirs or assigns against the legal claim or claims of all and every person whatever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set he has Set his hand & affixed his seal the day and year first written. Saml Hogg (Seal) Signed Sealed and acknowledged in the presence of James Hodges, Philip Hodges The State of Tennessee Williamson County Court July term 1826 This deed of Conveyance from Saml Hogg to George Sammon is produced in open Court, the execution thereof is duly proven by the oaths of James Hodges & Philip Hodges Subscribing Witnesses there to and the Same is Ordered to be Registered.
