His Bible states that George departed this life Oct 27th 1873, Aged 70 years, three months, and twenty two days. 1870 SCHUYLER CO MISSOURI M593 R:804 George Sammons and Newton Sammons were listed twice. Once in the house hold of Julia Ann and Oliver Fetters, and also in their own household. So, they were probably visiting Julia the day the census taker came by, but were at home when one came by their house. (See P.26-29) What's funny about it is, Julia and Newton were TWINS, but Julia was listed as age 23, and Newton was listed as age 25. But in their home, Newton was 24. George was 67 at Julia's house, but 68 in his. Sintha was actually Samantha, How did they get Sintha out of that? It wasn't unusual to find others living with families, I don't know who or how Mary J Sanders ties in. Notice Julia is Julian, in the 1870 census, she was listed as Julia Ann, AND Newton and Julia are the same age this time. The Fetters household is listed to show Julia's future husband, Harrison Oliver Fetters. After the Civil War, in 1864, they will get married. 1860 SCHUYLER CO MO Lancaster - Independence Page:73 (Lan Ka stir) Geo:37 Farmer 1300 1200 TN Jane:29 CNRW Abner:27 farmhand John:23 farmhand Newton:14 in school Julia:14 in school Sintha:16 Merry J Sanders:16 Mo
