Barbara Williams Sammon, daughter of John Sammon and Elizabeth (Betty) Walker, born about 
1785; Died Jan. 1, 1869 in New Orleans, La.;  married Robert Burwell Moore on Jan. 6, 1806 
in Greenville District, South Carolina;  moved to New Orleans, La. after 1816;  married 
2.  Dr. Luther Preston about 1824;  he died about 1829.

Robert Burwell Moore, Major in the War of 1812  under Brig. Gen. James Wilkinson's command 
in New Orleans, La.;  died while on furlough (possibly malaria)  Sept.14, 1814 at Ft. 
Deerborn, Columbia, South Carolina.

They had the following children:
i.  Robert Burwell Moore, born Sept. 5, 1806 in Greenville District, South Carolina;  
    Died March 6, 1836, listed as "massacred at the Alamo", San Antonio, Tx.  He served with 
    Capt. Thomas H. Breece's command of the New Orleans Greys.

ii. Elizabeth Washington Moore, born in Greenville District, South Carolina. She married 
Theodore Stephen Robert of New Orleans, La.

They had the following children:
    i.	 Augusta V. Robert married S. D. Rousseau of New Orleans, La.
    ii.	 Barbara B. Robert married      Dicks.
    iii. Ophelia C. Robert married G. Correjolles of Texas.
    iv.	 Theodore Stephen Robert, Jr. married Ellen Patterson.

iii.Harriott Levall Moore, born August of 1809 in Greenville District, South Carolina.  
    Died of April 13, 1881, buried in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, La.   She married 
    Thomas Davidson Hailes of Sept. 25, 1830 in New Orleans,La.

They had the following children:
    i.	Penrice Davidson Hailes, born on May 12, 1842 in Grand Cane, Caddo Parrish, La.;  
        Died of May 19, 1858 ( dissapeared, believed to have been shanghaied).
    ii. Robert Moore Hailes, born June of 1848 in New Orleans, La. Died of April 7, 1881, 
        buried in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, La.
    iii Sarah Lydia Hailes, born October 12, 1844 in New Orleans, La.; Died on June 9, 1925, 
        buried in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, La. She married James Hailes on July 17, 
        1864.  He was born on Dec. 11, 1836 in Liverpool, England; came to the United States 
        in 1857.  Died on Sept.15, 1911, buried in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, La.

They had the following children:
    i.	Edith Agnes Hailes, born July 5, 1867 in New Orleans,La. She married L. (Lyndon) A. 
        Moore in El Paso, Tx.; they resided in California.
    ii. Julia Lydia Hailes, born Nov. 5, 1868 in New Orleans,La. Died Sept. 24, 1873 in 
        New Orleans, La.
    iii Walter Lucas Hailes, born May 8, 1870 in New Orleans,La. Died Oct. 24, 1870 in 
        New Orleans, La.
    iv.	Laura Gertrude Hailes, born Nov. 28, 1871 in New Orleans; Buried in Metairie 
        Cemetery, New Orleans, La.
    v.	Rosa Lillie Hailes, born August 23, 1873 in New Orleans,La Died March 7, 1875 in 
        New Orleans, La.
    vi.	Ida May Hailes, born Dec. 13, 1874 in New Orleans, La. Died March 13, 1928, buried 
        in Metairie Cemetery. She married Fred Adam Earhart on Sept. 13, 1901 in New 
        Orleans, La.   He was born June 29, 1875 in New Orleans. Died on Nov. 2, 1948, 
        buried in Metairie Cemetery

They had the following children:
        i. Frederick Hailes Earhart, born Sept. 13, 1902 in New Orleans,La. died March 1, 
           1967. Married Betty Spear Bouny on Nov.24,1946
       ii. Sarah Lydia Hailes Earhart, born Mar. 7, 1905 in New Orleans,La. died May 24, 
           1987, buried in Metairie Cem. Married Alfred Antoine Aubert on Oct. 16, 1932 in 
           New Orleans, La.
      iii. Ida Adele Earhart, born on Sept. 13, 1907 in New Orleans, La. died Sept. 9, 
           1986, buried Metairie Cem.
       iv. Valentine Adam Earhart born Dec. 25, 1909 in New Orleans, La. died June 22, 
           1961, buried in Metairie Cem. Married Claire Alberta Richards March 1936
        v. Lily Earhart, born Feb. 23, 1912 in New Orleans, La. Married Richard Twining - 
           Living.
       vi. Robert Davidson Hailes Earhart born April 6, 1915 in New Orleans, La. Married 
           Esther Ruth Dorhauer on Oct. 22, 1948. - Living.
      vii. James Luther Earhart born June 15, 1918 in New Orleans, La. died July 1997. 
           Married Ruth Elizabeth Dailey.

    vii. Alfred Davidson Hailes, born March 30, 1876; Died Dec. 11, 1924, buried in Metairie 
         Cem. New Orleans.
   viii. Robert Davidson Moore Hailes, born Sept. 13, 1877 in New Orleans, La.  Died January 
         20, 1920.
     ix. Sarah Lydia Hailes, born March 22, 1879 in New Orleans. Buried in Metairie Cemetery, 
         New Orleans, La.
      x. James Hailes, born Oct. 15, 1880 in New Orleans, La. Died June 2, 1882 in New 
         Orleans, La.

iv. Louisa Moore married 1.John Penise and 2.John Galpin.

 They had the following children:
    i. Sarah Penise married Richard Britton, possibly of New Orleans, La.
   ii. John Galpin, no heirs.
  iii. Francis Galpin, no heirs.
   iv. Elizabeth Galpin married Frank Ruleff.
    v. James Galpin.
   vi. Elnathan Galpin.
  vii. Benjamin Galpin.

v.  Sarah Moore married Henry Mather.

vi. William Pickney Moore,  born Oct. 8, 1813 in Greenville District, S. Carolina.
    Died in June of 1837 near Matagorda, Texas, serving in the Texas Revolution as
    a New Orleans Grey.
