The State of Tennessee
	TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING;
	   Know Ye, That for and in consideration of the sum of fees of Office, paid into the 
	Office of the Entry taker of Gibson County, and entered on the     day of      18 
	pursuant to the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of said State, passed 2d day
	of November, 1847,
	by No. 2557574 THERE IS GRANTED by the said State of Tennessee, unto the Heirs of
James J. Sammons
	a certain tract or parcel of land, containing 18 3/4 acres 
	by servey, bearing date the 17 day of April 1846 lying in said county,
	on the Waters of the North Fork of Forked Dun 
						Range 2 Section 3 
	Beginning at SW Corner of entry No 265 of 66 1/4 acres in
	the name of E Robertson, runs North with its West boundary
	passing the SEC of Jas J Sammons 25 acre only at 63 poles
	in all 184 1/4 poles to a stake opts, then West 38 poles to a stake
	opts on the East boundary of entry No 65 in the name of Nehemiah
	Hancock, then South passing the NWC of Jas J Sammons 20 
	acre entry in all 184 1/4 poles to a sweet gum on the high _____
	of acouk? then East crossing the Creek 3 poles, to the orginating
	Including & excluding Jas J Sammons 25 acres 
	entry
	
	

	With the hereditaments and appurtenances.   To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of 
	land with its appurtenances,
	to the said James J Sammons and his heirs forever.
	In Witness whereof, Andrew Johnson Governor of the State of Tennessee
	hath hereunto set his hand and caused the Great Seal of the State to be affixed at Nashville
	on the 1 day of
	January in the year of Our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred and 46 and of the
