		of Jas J Sammons  Dest      }
		to January Term 1840        }
					In the name of God amen I James J Sammons
		of Gibson County Tennessee being weak in Body but of Sound mind and
		Memory blessed be to almighty God for the Same do make this
		my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to say
		1d first I give and bequeath my Sole unto God  Second I give and
		bequeath un to my beloved Wife Milly all my property and None
		to be Sold only at her request 4d fourthly & Lastly I give and 
		bequeath unto my Son James J Sammons a tract of Land Situated
		in gibson County in Range 2 Section 3 on the Waters of North
		Forkiddier? River Containing 45(25) acres Deeded and 20 acres Occupant
		lastly I herby appoint My beloved Wife Milly my Sole Executrix
		of this my last Will and Testament   In Witness Where of I
		have hereunto Set My hand and Seal the 6d of December AD 1839

		to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto
		Subscribed our names as Witnesses in presence of the testator

				    } Know all men by these presents that We Milly Sammons William
		Milly Sammons Ex of } Doyal & J D Rentfro? are held and firmly bound unto Jas K Polk Esq
		J J Sammons   Dest  } Governor of the State of Tennessee and his successors in office in the 
		to Jany term  1840  } first and full sum two Thousand Dollars for the payment of Which will 
		and truly to be made in and each of us bind ourselves our heir executors and administrators
		jointly Severally and firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seales and dated this 6th day 
		of January 1840.
			The condition of the above obligation is Such that whereas the above
		bound Milly Sammons hath this day taken upon herself the Buathan? and Execution of the
		Will of James J Sammons deceased  Now if the Said Milly Sammons well and truly
		Execute the Same by paying first the debts of the deceased and then the Legacy
		Contained in Said Will as fare as the assets may come unto her hand will execute and the
		Law charge her and make a true and perfect Inventory of the goods and chattles of the deceased
		and return the Same in the terms prescribed by --- then this obligation to be void otherwise
		to remain in full and Virtue
