John Riley Sammons

		John Riley SAMMONS, b. 22 Mar 1839 near Lexington, KY. 
		Married in 1861 to Miss Susan MAY. One child, Mary, was born to this union. 
		Susan MAY SAMMONS died in 1869. John moved from KY to Jonesboro, Union Co., 
		IL. He married Mrs. Susan A. DILLOW FISHER. They moved to near Cassville, 
		Barry Co., MO. This 2nd Susan died in 1902. In November 1903, John married 
		Mrs. America HUFFMAN. John died in Cassville, MO, 14 May 1910, age 71 years. 
		He is buried in the Star Cemetery (I believe it is now called the Roller 
		Cemetery), in Seligman, MO. (This information is from his obituary. I 
		believe the source was his stepson, Bud FISHER).
