 			B.J. Rowland to Trustees of Bethlehem Church Deed 
		I Benjamin J. Rowland have this day bargained & Sold & do hereby
		transfer and Convey to the Trustees of Bethlehem Church  to wit) Augustine
		Rowland, Phillip Hodges, Alfred Mallard & S.A. Bile and their successors
		in Office for and in Consideration of One dollar to me paid - A Small
		Stsess? Or parcel of land in the State of Tennessee Bedford County in Civil
		District No. 6 and joining On the south One Acre of land Deeded by
		John Burns for the use of the Methodist Episcopal Church Con-
		taining by Ctunation twelve poles be the Same more or less the
		Said Tract of Twelve poles of Land being Bounded as follows
		Beginning at a Pin Oak the South west Corner of Said Acre of land  Thence
		South about one pole tp James Clardy's Line  Thence East with his line Twelve
		poles to a Stake in laid line, Thence North about One pole to a Cedar the south
		East Corner of Said Acre: Thence west Twelve poles to the Beginning - The above
		described Lot or parcel of land - is to be appropriated and applied to the use
		of the Methodist E. Church South Exclusively & to no other purpose, I do Covenant
		With the above named Trustees Or their Successors in Office  That I am lawfully
		Seized of the said Tract of land, have a good right to Convey it and that the
		Same is unimcumbered - I do further Covenant and bind my self my heirs &
		Representations to Warrant and forever defend the title to the Said Tract of land
		to the Said Trustees of Bethlehem Church and their Successors in Office - against
		the lawful claims of All persons Whatever - In Witness where of I have hereunto
		Set my hand and Seal This      day of         1827.

		Bedford County      }  Personally appeared before me Andrew Vannoy Clerk of the 
		County Court of Said County, B.J. Rowland the above named bargainor, with 
		Whom I am personally acquainted, Who Acknowledges that he Executed the fore-
		going deed for the purposes therein Contained- Witness my hand at office 
		this 1st Decr 1851
