		136 acres waters           } This Indenture made the third day of October in the
		of Rutherford Co           } year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twe
		wk conveyed                ) nty five between Philip Hodges of Williamson County John
		by Philip Hodges           ) Mankin and Elizabeth his wife James Mankin and Lydia
		& others Registered        ) his wife and James Hodges of the County of Rutherford and

		State of Tennessee of the one part and Josiah Wood of the County of
		Williamson and State of Tennessee of the other part Witnesseth that the
		said Philip John & Elizabeth his wife James and Lydia his wife and James Hodges
		for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred & Eighty dollars to them
		in hand paid by the Said Josiah Wood the receipt whereof is herby acknowledged
		hath given granted bargained Sold Aliened conveyed and Confirmed and by
		These presents doth give grant bargain sell alien convey & confirm unto the said
		Josiah Wood his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of Land Situate
		Lying and being in the County of Williamson and Rutherford on the waters
		of Nelsons & Stewarts Creek begining at an ash in Cluster of cedars then
		West one hundred & Sixty poles to a stake thence South one hundred and Sixty
		poles to an ash thence Past Sixty poles to an White oak thence North Six
		and one half poles thence East one hundred poles to a Stake thence north
		one hundred fifty three & one half poles to the begining Containing
		one hundred and fifty six acres be the same more or less To have and to hold
		the said aforesaid with all and singular the rights profits ______
		hereditaments and appertunances of in and to the Same belonging every wise
		appertaining to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Josiah West
		his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Philip Hodges John Makin? and
		Elizabeth his wife James Makin & Lydia his wife and Jame Hodges for their heirs
		Executors and Administrators doth Covenant and agree with the said Josiah
		Wood his heirs or assigns that the before ____ Land & bargained premises
		they will warrant and forever defend against the rights title interest or claim
		of all and any person whatsoever In witness whereof the said John
		Elizabeth James Mankin? Lydia and James Hodge have hereunto Set their
		hand and affixed their seals the day and year first above written Philip

		presence of John S Hamer Josiah Steming  The State of Tennessee Williamson
		County Court October Term 1825 This deed of Conveyance from Philip Hodges
		John Mankin and Elizabeth his wife James Mankin and Lydia his wife & James
		Hodges to Josiah Wood is produced in open Court and the execution therof
		by the Said Philip Hodges James Mankin John Mankin and James Hodges
		is duly acknowledged and because the Said Elizabeth Mankin and Lydia Mankin
		as feme coverts they are in open Court separate and apart from their husbands
		privily examined by the Court touching the execution of said deed and upon
		Such examination they State they had executed the same freely and voluntary
		by and without the fear threats persuasion or aversion of their said husbands
		& that they wished not to retract from the same ordered ____ said deed be
		registered ___ paid  Attest Thos Hardeman  Clerk of Said Court
